Steem breaks into the top 40.
It was exactly 13 days ago that I wrote about Steem breaking back into the top 50.
Now we have broken into the top 40, which is really exciting.
Steem sits amongst a sea of red, all green and up 4%.
Bitcoin, on the other hand, is down 4% sitting at around $3,588.
You could say that $0.40 isn't exactly a great price considering that we were once at $8. However, the market is really still trying to figure out which way it's going to go. It's great to see us rise up through the ranks.
I don't really think that this has anything to do with all of the drama that has been affecting us lately though.
I think it has everything to do with the fact that our coin has been incredibly undervalued due to all of the different things that we bring to the table.
I've been saying for a long time that I think that 2019 is going to be a great year for cryptocurrency, and I really do think that Steem is going to be one of the coins that shines brightly.
If you're wondering what to do with your Steem now that it is up, I would definitely suggest you do not sell.
$0.40 might be a higher price than we were at a few weeks ago but it is still pennies on the dollar when it comes to what we are actually worth.
It wouldn't surprise me if we were at $4 in just a few months, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if we were at $40 in a year or two.
Remember, there's always a lot of drama where there's a lot of action, and there's a lot of action at Steem right now.
So hold tight. This is going to be a bumpy ride, but ultimately we will end up with the last laugh.

I can't help but wonder if it is people getting their hopes up that a "fork" might result in two steem tokens and that's driving the price up.
In any case, good to get our name out there and as crypto markets tend to do, some green on a single coin ends up with more green on that same coin.
Honestly I doubt that the people have that much power. I think it's more likely that outside sources are finally seeing the potential.
I remember when we were much higher on the chart. No reason to think we can't break the top 20 with a few months.
The move up while most others are green is a testament to the strength of the platform.

I guess Bithumb is about to activate their steem wallet which has a much higher price right now then our current price.
That's probably going to make their price fall and our price rise a bit more.
Hope it’s not all about arbitraging and wash trading that we all seen in November and December in 2017 🤣

This is the time to invest in the other big coins. ETH and BTC as they will head up sooner or later. It's good to see my full vote increase today, it's been a long wait.
My full vote used to be $4.50.

I have a little EOS, but bought it around $10, like much of my other failing crypto-assets. The trick is to wait.. and wait some more. I am tempted to get more STEEM, but is this 38c going to be 28c in a few days. Who knows?
Don't feel bad brother. Like most people I bought it at $20.
If steem realizes its full potential just think how awesome that will be. Your full upvote will be able to buy groceries for someone for an entire month.
It will, but only if we power down. Thats the difference between here and other coins. You can just hold them and convert to fiat at a good time but with STEEM you get influence if you hold more and that has the side effect of you 'wanting to hold' them.
How come steem is in the green while bitcoin is in the red?

I am very happy since steem price have been rising and rising and I hope it continue to rise up to 3$. We have been down for a long time and this is the time for us to stand up and take the world by storm this year
