Whether man is considered to be religious or not, to believe in the soul-divine or not, whether it is in the past or in reincarnation, in the solution of any of his problems, as far as possible, resort to non-violence.This is the heart of Sadhana of Paryushana.Violence can not be a permanent solution to any problem.Those seeking solutions from violence have provoked the problem more.By keeping this fact in front of the Jain community, the common man also remained faithful to the power of non-violence and experimented with deep faith.

Imagination of a new world without a morally clean, non-charity worship and purification of the present life is a kind of paradox. The religious can be the same, which is moral. The right to worship should be given to him who is virtuous. Before entering the maze of improving the paradise, it should be focused on the purification of this life. This path is the way to go in the direction of religion, and this is the basis of the significance of the Maha Parva of this Paryushana.
मनुष्य धार्मिक कहलाए या नहीं, आत्मा-परमात्मा में विश्वास करे या नहीं, पूर्वजन्म और पुनर्जन्म को माने या नहीं, अपनी किसी भी समस्या के समाधान में जहां तक संभव हो, अहिंसा का सहारा ले- यही पयुर्षण की साधना का हार्द है। हिंसा से किसी भी समस्या का स्थायी समाधान नहीं हो सकता। हिंसा से समाधान चाहने वालों ने समस्या को अधिक उकसाया है। इस तथ्य को सामने रखकर जैन समाज ही नहीं, आमजन भी अहिंसा की शक्ति के प्रति आस्थावान बने और गहरी आस्था के साथ उसका प्रयोग भी करें।

नैतिकताविहीन धर्म, चरित्रविहीन उपासना और वर्तमान जीवन की शुद्धि बिना परलोक सुधार की कल्पना एक प्रकार की विडंबना है। धार्मिक वही हो सकता है, जो नैतिक है। उपासना का अधिकार उसी को मिलना चाहिए, जो चरित्रवान है। परलोक सुधारने की भूलभुलैया में प्रवेश करने से पहले इस जीवन की शुद्धि पर ध्यान केंद्रित होना चाहिए। धर्म की दिशा में प्रस्थान करने के लिए यही रास्ता निरापद है और यही पर्युषण महापर्व की सार्थकता का आधार है।

Paryushana is the use of pratikraman. Looking back is an honest attempt to see ourselves. Looking at the past and the future with the eye of the present, what is tomorrow and what is going to happen tomorrow, with its prudent decision, a new journey is started. Praise is the festival of deep in the soul, it is a festival of self-restoration and self-promotion. This festival is a festival to immerse the ego and the lords. This festival is a festival of non-violence.

Today the whole world needs Ahimsa, friendship of the most. This festival is a festival of nonviolence and friendship. Peace can only be achieved through non-violence and friendship. Today the burning problems like violence, terrorism, mutual hatred, Naxalism and corruption have become a major cause of worry for not only the country but for the world, and everyone wants solutions to these problems, for those people, the Paryushana festival is an inspiration. It is the path, the guide is, and the use of non-violent lifestyles is.

Today, it is more important to maintain the relevance of this festival in the blindness of the Bhagati life, in the glare of materialism. For this, the Jain community became sensitive, especially the young generation, being familiar with the values of the Paryushana festival, and from these rare moments awakening self-consciousness through shared, silent, chanting, meditation, self-study, dietary abstinence, sense of self-determination, Jivadya etc. Benefit yourself and present an ideal to the masses.

पर्युषण पर्व प्रतिक्रमण का प्रयोग है। पीछे मुड़कर स्वयं को देखने का ईमानदार प्रयत्न है। वर्तमान की आंख से अतीत और भविष्य को देखते हुए कल क्या थे और कल क्या होना है, इसका विवेकी निर्णय लेकर एक नए सफर की शुरुआत की जाती है। पर्युषण आत्मा में रमण का पर्व है, आत्मशोधन व आत्मोत्थान का पर्व है। यह पर्व अहंकार और ममकार का विसर्जन करने का पर्व है। यह पर्व अहिंसा की आराधना का पर्व है।

आज पूरे विश्व को सबसे ज्यादा जरूरत है अहिंसा की, मैत्री की। यह पर्व अहिंसा और मैत्री का पर्व है। अहिंसा और मैत्री के द्वारा ही शांति मिल सकती है। आज जो हिंसा, आतंक, आपसी द्वेष, नक्सलवाद, भ्रष्टाचार जैसी ज्वलंत समस्याएं न केवल देश के लिए, बल्कि दुनिया के लिए चिंता का बड़ा कारण बनी हुई हैं और सभी कोई इन समस्याओं का समाधान चाहते हैं, उन लोगों के लिए पर्युषण पर्व एक प्रेरणा है, पाथेय है, मार्गदर्शन है और अहिंसक जीवनशैली का प्रयोग है।

आज भौतिकता की चकाचौंध में, भागती जिंदगी की अंधी दौड़ में इस पर्व की प्रासंगिकता बनाए रखना ज्यादा जरूरी है। इसके लिए जैन समाज संवेदनशील बने, विशेषत: युवा पीढ़ी पर्युषण पर्व की मूल्यवत्ता से परिचित हो और वे सामायिक, मौन, जप, ध्यान, स्वाध्याय, आहार संयम, इन्द्रिय निग्रह, जीवदया आदि के माध्यम से आत्मचेतना को जगाने वाले इन दुर्लभ क्षणों से स्वयं लाभान्वित हो और जन-जन के सम्मुख एक आदर्श प्रस्तुत करे।
