My Dears Steemit Friends/Followers, First of all, on the occasion of the Parv-Paryushan jain-festival, Congratulations to you all u. Today my post is telling about the rules of Jainism. What is the significance of the Paryushan festival? How do Jain`s celebrate this festival?
India is a country of festivals and festivals. Not only is there a festival with physical attraction, but there is also a festival associated with self-meditation and sacrifice. One such festival is the Paryushan- Mahaparv. This is not just a festival of Jains, it is a festival of human nature. This is a great and wonderful festival for the whole world, because in it the soul is worshiped.

This is the only festival or festival in the whole world that, after becoming a person, becomes a self-made person and strives to attain liberation on the peak of supernatural, spiritual happiness.

This is the Mega-Festival of the Entire Jain Society. This is a Symbol of Jain unity. Jain people give it the most importance It is known in the Digambar tradition as its 'Dash-Lakshana festival'. It is the beginning day of Bhadra and Shukla Panchami and the day of prosperity.

On the other hand, Shwetambar Jain tradition is the day of Bhadra and Shukla Panchami, which is the day of Samadhi, which is celebrated with complete renunciation, fasting, feasts, self-determination and restraint in the form of Savatsari. People who never get out of time through-out the year also get awake on this day. Those who do not fast, they are seen doing God-worship on this day.

Various beliefs are available to celebrate the observance festival. It is mentioned in the Agam literature that 49 or 50 days of Samvatsari Chaturmas should be celebrated on being spent and 69 or 70 days of stay. In the Digambar tradition this festival is celebrated as 10 symptoms. These 10 symptoms start with the end of the Puryushunya Festival.
Puryushunya is the festival of Ego-End/Revenge. This festival is celebrated for 8 days in which the heat, excitement has arisen within one and if there is a sense of hatred towards someone, then it is a festival to calm it down. The 10 gates of religion are mentioned in it - the pardon is the first door. Pardon parity Forgiveness is very important for life. As long as there is no forgiveness in life, one can not move on the path of spirituality.

भारत पर्वों और त्योहारों का देश है। उनमें न केवल भौतिक आकर्षण से पर्व है बल्कि आत्म साधना और त्याग से जुड़े पर्व भी हैं। एक ऐसा ही अनूठा पर्व है पर्युषण महापर्व। यह मात्र जैनों का पर्व नहीं है, मानव मात्र का पर्व है। पूरे विश्व के लिए यह एक उत्तम और उत्कृष्ट पर्व है, क्योंकि इसमें आत्मा की उपासना की जाती है।

संपूर्ण संसार में यही एक ऐसा उत्सव या पर्व है जिसमें शामील होकर व्यक्ति आत्मार्थी बनता है व अलौकिक, आध्यात्मिक आनंद के शिखर पर हुये मोक्ष-गामी होने का सद्प्रयास करता है।

पूरे जैन समाज का यह महाकुंभ पर्व है। यह जैन एकता का प्रतीक पर्व है। जैन लोग इसे सर्वाधिक महत्व देते हैं। दिगंबर परंपरा में इसकी 'दशलक्षण पर्व' के रूप में पहचान है। उनमं इसका प्रारंभिक दिन भाद्र व शुक्ल पंचमी और संपन्नता का दिन चतुर्दशी है।

दूसरी तरफ श्वेतांबर जैन परंपरा में भाद्र व शुक्ल पंचमी का दिन समाधि का दिन होता है जिसे संवत्सरी के रूप में पूर्ण त्याग-प्रत्याख्यान, उपवास, पौषध सामायिक, स्वाध्याय और संयम से मनाया जाता है। वर्षभर में कभी समय नहीं निकाल पाने वाले लोग भी इस दिन जागृत हो जाते हैं। कभी उपवास नहीं करने वाले भी इस दिन धर्मानुष्ठान करते नजर आते हैं।

पर्युषण पर्व मनाने के लिए भिन्न-भिन्न मान्यताएं उपलब्ध होती हैं। आगम साहित्य में इसके लिए उल्लेख मिलता है कि संवत्सरी चातुर्मास के 49 या 50 दिन व्यतीत होने पर व 69 या 70 दिन रहने पर मनाई जानी चाहिए। दिगंबर परंपरा में यह पर्व 10 लक्षणों के रूप में मनाया जाता है। ये 10 लक्षण पर्युषण पर्व के समाप्त होने के साथ ही शुरू होते हैं।

पर्युषण महापर्व-कषाय शमन का पर्व है। यह पर्व 8 दिन तक मनाया जाता है जिसमें किसी के भीतर में ताप, उत्ताप पैदा हो गया हो, किसी के प्रति द्वेष की भावना पैदा हो गई हो तो उसको शांत करने का यह पर्व है। धर्म के 10 द्वार बताए हैं उसमें पहला द्वार है- क्षमा। क्षमा यानी समता। क्षमा जीवन के लिए बहुत जरूरी है। जब तक जीवन में क्षमा नहीं, तब तक व्यक्ति अध्यात्म के पथ पर नहीं बढ़ सकता।
