EFFECT OF VALUE OF RELIGION IN THE LIFE OF ACEH PEOPLE
Aceh region in Kenal in the archipelago first because it has the value of the privilege of the influence of religious values of Islamic teachings, so that the region of Aceh known as "Seurambi Meukah".
Almost all Acehnese are Muslim, and there are some who follow Christian, Catholic, Hindu and Buddhist teachings.
Almost every city in Aceh is found in other places of worship such as Church, Temple or Vihara.
The attitude of mutual respect between religions is very high in the souls of aceh society so that other religions can coexist harmoniously and orderlyly in aceh land.
The influence of religious values in the life of aceh people is very strong and felt proved by many religious educational institutions known as dayah, teaching center and also Meunasah-meunasah located in every village in aceh.
Meunasah is activated for various religious activities in aceh such as congregational prayer as well as "khenduri aceh red-language" banquet in every anniversary of Islamic day like Maulid Prophet Muhammad SAW. Israk mikraj, the new year of Islam "Muharram" as well as various khenduri banquet which adad and its culture when Khenduri descend into the rice fields and khenduri nazar.
Islamic norms that have been attached to the aceh community can also be seen from the clothing used by the aceh community and also about the relationship between youth and adolescents even at its limits.
But even so, it does not mean all aceh people obey what has been applied by Islamic sharia government.
There are also Acehnese who disobey and violate the provisions, especially with the influence of social, cultural and economic transitions in the modern era and globalization today.
So there are also many Acehnese adolescents who wear clothing that is incompatible with aceh and cultural religion and they also often imitate new patterns and lifestyles.
Even so, Aceh's Aceh outline is still of high value in everyday life.
