On January 31, keep your eyes on the sky, the phenomenon of "Bloody Moon" is about to happen
At the end of January prepare to see a heavenly spectacle, that of the Moon eclipse. On January 31, there will be a full lunar eclipse or what is called the "bloody moon".
This phenomenon also coincides with the "Blue Moon", which means that it is the second time within a month when the moon will be full. By 2018, the "Blue Moon" phenomenon will occur twice.
At the end of January, stargazers are set to witness a trio of lunar phenomena, all aligned to create an incredible view.
The second full moon of the month will occur on January 31 as i mentioned above , marking the first of two ‘blue’ moons in 2018 – and, this will line up with a total lunar eclipse, which will turn the moon a striking red color for what’s known as the ‘Blood Moon.’

Just one night earlier, the moon will reach its closest point to Earth, marking the second arrival of the supermoon this year.
But it is the first time in 150 years that the full lunar eclipse coincides with the "Blue Moon", according to Space.com. This dual phenomenon, some have called it "Bloody Blue Surplus".
In the case of "Blue Moon", the label does not coincide with the content. It does not mean that the moon will get blue pigment, but the name is set so that it is the second full moon in a given month of the year. This time, the color will change but will not be blue.
It will be reddish because during a lunar eclipse, the Earth lies between the Sun and the Moon, blocking the light that hits the lunar surface. This phenomenon will occur on January 31 in the middle of the night when the Pacific Ocean is set against the Moon.
This means that the countries that will have a perfect eclipse will be the Western US, Alaska, Hawaii, Central and Eastern Asia, New Zealand and Australia. These states will be able to see the lunar eclipse from beginning to end.
However, even from other parts of the world it will be possible to see, though partially. Therefore, prepare to see the natural phenomenon of the "bloody moon" on January 31st.
