Choose the right niche for your tribe !

We have now a big hype arround steem-engine.com website and tokens.

A lot of tokens are distributed for free. People are happy with getting them and some of them are converting that into steem and others are staking them to grow in all those tribes.

This post will about those people who are creating tokens, or who want to create a token in the future.

I think choosing the best niche for your token is the most important thing.

Let's take an example of steemleo.com , even if the name of the token they have is not related with their niche, they still growing very fast and improving because they choosed a big niche. Who is not investor on steem and that's why their main topic is invesmtment. So, they hit the right goal.

We have as well steemcoinpan.com and their main topic is blockchain and crypto currency. But you can say that they choosed a smaller niche, because not everyone in the world can be interested to that. I know that the audiance is big, but comparing it to steemleo, it's much smaller. Anyone in the world can be an investor.

So, for me, steemcoinpan did a little mistake by choosing that nich and they can't change that now after promoting the token and the tribe. The will have to keep into what they started with, or maybe they will have to make more effort to find all crypto related people to join them.

That was just an example of two tribes that seems the same, but I wanted to show the difference and how one tribe could miss a big audiance, while an other will get that without a big effort.

So, if you are willing to create a token, or maybe you created one and it's not doing well. Try to change a bit the consept. Think about the nishe that you want to see in your tribe. Maybe there aren't so many people interested in that. But if you are passionate about the topic and you want to find more people interested, of course keep improving and doing what I'm doing. My purpose is not to demotivate , but to tell you why it will hard for you to grow that, but if you are ready and you want to struggle or maybe you have enough money or good supporters, I wish you all the best.

The main goal of all those tribes created is to improve steem blockchain. That's why I think we have to choose the niche very carefully. We have to keep in mind that we can attrack investors from outside steem. It will be good to have a niche with bigger traffic to have more chance to find investors.

Maybe you have to learn more about where people are investing their money and you will understand what your tribe should be all about.

I think in the situation with steem now, we need bigger investors. What do you think ? Will an investor investe in a token about cats ? or about dogs ? Instead of creating such tokens, it's better for example to create a token related to all animals. That's also an example I have in mind, that may help you understand the picture.

I'm really glad that we have so many tokens now created on steem and so many active tribes are supporting them. That's the power of smart contracts what I never understand with ethereum, but I understand now that with steem.

That's how steem is great and that's how we learn about things here everyday.
