Behind a couple of days....
I
I had every intention to post this on Sunday and I know its Tuesday. The last couple days have been very busy so this is my catch up post.
We left Denver Sunday morning early headed for the western slope. These pictures were taken above Silverthorne Colorado.
We were expecting snow in Denver so I wasn't sure what to expect weather wise.
It was absolutely beautiful.
A couple pictures of Glenwood canyon for #bouldersunday...
Thought these were pretty colors.
Check out this old car. When cars were made to last....
Headed to Durango thru box canyon.
If you ever get the chance it is so beautiful.
So we decided to stay in Durango and head out in the morning. Rain quickly turned to snow. I am so glad Dave was driving. Going over wolf creek pass, I was very scared. I usually do not get scared in weather but you could not see anything especially the edge of the mountain. Dave did a great job. I would have taken more photos but I was holding on for dear life.
Here is my #treetuesday post. I do love the pines after it snows.
So we make it back to Denver ahead of the next storm and I get to do a few things with my daughter.
Fast forward wake up Tuesday to snow and cold. Yuck. Alaska loves it.
So after I worried all morning about my middle daughter driving in the bad weather, it was time to bake some goodies. I love to cook and bake.
Brownies.....
Banana Bread.......
Toffee cookies....
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you...
Hope your day was fantastic..
