Ok, so what is Busy.org? Can I get double paid if I post there too?
A few days ago I mentioned that I'm "moving to Busy.org" and no longer using Steemit.com for my daily posts.
Read here: https://steemit.com/busy/@ashe-oro/i-m-moving-to-busy-org
After receiving a lot of comments and direct messages (on Facebook), there seems to be quite a bit of confusion about what exactly Busy.org is. Today's post should clear some of that up.
Let's go over some blockchain basics.
Steem is a blockchain. Steemit.com is a "block explorer" and way to interact with the Steem blockchain. Basically, Steemit.com is ONE WEBSITE that allows you to see the contents of the Steem blockchain. Some call this a "front-end" interface.
There are already several Steem block explorers (or front-ends) which all you to view the data and transactions of the blockchain. These include Steemit.com, Busy.org, ESteem.ws (designed for mobile), DTube, DSound, Zappl, DMania.lol and it seems like many more every month.
When I said that I'm "leaving Steemit.com and moving to Busy.org", I didn't mean that I would stop posting on Steem, but instead I decided to use a different website "front-end" to access and submit posts to the Steem blockchain. Don't worry, i'm not going anywhere and ur stuck w/ me ^_^ keke
If you post something on, let's say, Busy.org...in the URL if you change the part that says "busy.org" with "steemit.com" then you'll see your exact same post on the Steemit.com website. If you post a video on DTube, it will also be available on Busy.org. See how this works?
Some front-ends only display a certain type of content. For example, DSound was built to only display audio and Dmania.lol was built to only show images. DTube was built to only display video. If I post a video on DTube, it will show up on Steemit and Busy (because they display everything) but it wouldn't show up on DSound or Zappl because the type of content (video) isn't supported on those front-ends.
Check it out, replace the URL for this post. Swap out "steemit.com" with "busy.org" and see what happens. (FYI: It seems like Busy.org is overloaded today and I can't get the website to load, thus i'm actually creating this post on Steemit.com). See how that works? It doesn't matter what website I use...i'm just submitting posts to the Steem blockchain!
Examples of this for the Bitcoin blockchain. All of these "block explorers" show the exact same information for the Bitcoin address 1KraNMPw7QMaaLmHsiMj57QKq9GHvZLKgh

- Blockexplorer.com - https://blockexplorer.com/address/1KraNMPw7QMaaLmHsiMj57QKq9GHvZLKgh

- Blockcypher.com - https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/address/1KraNMPw7QMaaLmHsiMj57QKq9GHvZLKgh/
Soooooo...check it out for this post!

Hope this helps, amigos y amigas! I got ur back. Soon, i'll write about SteemAuto.com and how you can setup your account to auto-vote your favorite authors and take care of your friends and community who constantly provide value and post on Steem.

Great post bro really useful. Thanks for explaining it. And sorry I didn't get to do the Auto Steem thing yet. I noticed you took me out of your but I promise I'll do my part soon. Just super crazy busy with moving and shit. Until then I'll upvote you manually. Cheers my man!
thx brotha. I've still got you on my autovoter. Don't even play. #amigos Hope to help u make enough money where I get a surprise painting in the mail one day ;)
Haha good one bro! Who knows! But I think the more likely scenario is that you’ll get so dirty rich that you’ll be more than happy to throw a coin or two my way for your beautiful commissioned piece! Thanks bro ❤️✊️🙏
How do you set up an autovoter?
Personally, I love Dusr.org more than steemit as Busy has a more friendly user interface.
and it has more options in editing text while writing posts or comments.
Also, it shows the profile with a more professional looking and large size for posts images (Thumbnail) which is so fair for artists if they want to show the artistic images from outside to attract new people to come in and check the post.
I believe that Busy.org is the best interface till now on all apps based on STEEM blockchain and it's able to make steem popular than Reddit and Quora in the near future :)
That's why I agree with you @ashe-oro when you moved into @busy.org
Thank you Ashe for sharing this info with us, really helpful :)
Lol logging in to busy.org was a big eye opener. Just logging in and seeing all the same posts, but with notifications and a smoother interface helped me understand everything you've posted here. It's somewhat akin to seeing a website in two different browsers.
It's all the same blockchain, just a different way of seeing it.
exactly.
I love it.
Did you see the Bloomberg article about Steem? Moon time.
which one??? link?

So basically busy.org is a new skin for steem, and from the short time I was over there seems to be a better skin. I'll be trying it out this week. Thanks.
Also any idea if there are any security concerns around transferring steem/claiming steem ect from there?
exactly, it's just a new skin for Steem.
I like that you can actually see all your notifications and your current voting power. It seems like they expose the data from the blockchain more as well in the activity tab.
awesome reseach i did not use busy.org but reading yous last post on i was supriseed that you leaving steemit and move to busy.org of his cool function! you briefly describe how it work thank you for making the post and end our confussion!
please sir visit my blog too!
O thank you sir i was searching for this to find this difference i was hoping that it is the same but you cleared all the things in very simple way thanks a lot.
Man we got confused by your last post but now you made it clear that what you wanted to share in your post.. you want some change by shifting to another front end, go for it buddy. Hope you are gonna do your best there
Thanks for sharing this @ashe . . . I was really inneed of this. . . Last time when you posted that i am migrating to Busy.org so i also joined that
But I wasn’t clear about all this
And yeah you were right Busy.org is little better then Steemit
I use busy.org to post from mobile too because it faster, I like the preview and auto save drafts. But when commenting from mobile I prefer steemit.com and testing steemitstage.com too :)
