Thoughts from a Russian couch
I betrayed my origins; I forgot who I am; I ignored my very own roots...
Yeah, it does.
When you stay in hostels you meet a lot of other tourists; you make friends with young people that share the same adventure mindset as you; you save money in accommodation to be able to spend a bit more in getting to know the places around you; it´s more about getting the most value you can for the least money spent, it´s the way I travel since I´m 18 years old.
Staying in an airbnb means you barelymeet other tourists; you depend on you ability to meet new people in normal circumstances - where in a hostel you share a common room with other people, you are meant to have a converstion there -; you spend a bit more in accommodation but you get a lot of value for your money; you get to experience the local culture in a deeper - bot deeply enough - way.
Since I´ve been thinking about coming to Moscow to spend a season - or maybe even settle for a few years I decided to stay in an airbnb for the first few days, then I´ll go to Krakow to meet some weirdos who I can´t wait to see and after that, I´ll probably come back to Moscow, It all depends on the situations and the normal life I get to experience here.
I´ve lost all inspiration fro the past few weeks and I´m hoping I´ll get bak to my writing habits soon enough, for now I don´t want to post content just for the sake of posting. Send me your best vibes so I can get back on track soon enough :)
Edit: I added a pic looking cash as fuck so @soyrosa doesn't think I'm deppressed or something :)
If you don't know what cash means, check the definition here
Don't know what made you to stay in Moscow in late autumn. It's quite a depressing place - two months without the sunlight at all.
At least I could buy you a coffee.
Hey man I didn't know you're from here. Sure, hit me up on discord and we can go grab something. Thanks!
This sounds like your AirBnB meant you had to work harder for a date ;)
But once the date is achieved, closing the deal is easier (in theory at least haha)
An interesting story and a great photo! Thank you @anomadsoul
Wow, Moscow! Have a great time. Don't worry about small changes. Take time and enjoy what you are experiencing. When your energy settles it will flow. Be well!
I don't know if it's lack of motivation or writer's block but hope you start feeling better soon. Sometimes I'll just look up quotes on writer's block to get myself going. Here's one of my favorites “You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.” — Jack London

Well, that doesn't help, the interior is exactly as I remembered, I felt depressed all the time in Russian homes :') You do look 'cash as fuck' though, especially without the nose bandages, just need a bigger smile and a better environment :P
Haha cash as fuck eh? That's a good one, I'll spread it around Canada for you :) :) :)
My eldest son takes selfies with that look, all his friends do it too.
I call it the "Souless-as-Possible-Justin-Bieber-Style-Look". For short, in our house, we call it "Doing the Beebs". LOL!! It's famous.
Yeah, my boy is cash as fuck. I really need to work on him harder to post here more.
Maybe you went and booked the AirBNB instead of your usual because subconsciously you need some quiet downtime and that was your way of telling you that? Spend some time doing absolute sfa (except maybe anything you particularly feel like at the time but only if you feel like it XD) and then hit the ground running after a bit of a recharge :)
I think it's time you raised what is necessary for you, whether to keep your roots as an explorer or change that and make things a little different
