Why Bitcoin and Crypto represent freedom

Bitcoin is an idea whose time has come...

Bitcoin and Crypto represent freedom.
Even though bitcoin is relatively new as compared to fiat currencies however it does represent freedom from fiat currencies.
For the uninitiated it may not mean a lot but for those who have taste the freedom associated with Crypto I am sure there is no going back.
Fiat means centralised control. Almost all fiat currencies are controlled by government.
They a have very little real value. The only value that fiat currencies have is notional.
In early days gold was considered has a benchmark of value. Silver was also used to represent value.
So money was initially tied to Gold or silver.
Gold or silver back money had some value. Slowly the golden silver backing was removed hand fiat money became more and more useless.
So when bitcoin happened people saw a great instrument that could be used as means of transfer value or digital money.
This was revolutionary concept because it made money universal.
It also meant that money got freedom from the clutches and control of Government and Financial Institutions.
Today the ease with which one can get and use crypto is unmatched. Bitcoin and other cryptos are fast getting mainstream status and are getting recognized as representing value and this is despite the fact that governments have been opposing and trying to suppress the use and adoption of bitcoins.

Despite all this opposition Bitcoin has survived and ready to soar higher
Long live Bitcoin long live Crypto.

crypto does represent freedom and it is ironic to me that the countries that claim to be the "free-est" seem to be the ones most opposed to its existence. This is likely because they have created the illusion of being free but actually want to be your financial overlords. The U.S. government is constantly meddling with any crypto exchanges that they can... and this is disappointing.

I am not a high-level trader by any means but I, without explanation, had a fiat bank account and coinbase shut down in the same week and while they didn't come forward and say it was because I was trading.... that was the reason why. The fact that Coinbase was complicit in this was very disappointing to me.
