RE: Would You Rely On A Drone For Personal Safety?

in #business6 years ago

"working on the world's first autonomous drone indoor surveillance system. . . able to carry out its own patrol route, it can land itself for recharging, record real-time video during surveillance patrols, and send security alerts."

It's only a short step from this to individual surveillance drones. Governments already monitor all digital communications (phone calls, emails, text, images, video), number plate readers, digital currency, and people are already accepting of facial recognition cameras. How soon until governments try to impose government monitored individual facial recognition surveillance drones to follow you everywhere you go and watch and record everything you say and do?

It would be enforced, for your safety of course, because anyone could be a terrorist, even your next door neighbour so be suspicious of everyone (except the government). Only the bad guys wouldn't want to be watched every second of every day. If you've got nothing to hide you've got nothing to fear. If you don't like the idea of 24/7 surveillance then it means you must be a terrorist.

Sort:

Those are all the reasons we should be using our personal drones to monitor our servants who are working for us. We're the employer of government, and we have the authority to keep an eye on them.

Turnabout is fair play, eh?

LOL! for safety of course 😂
