Everything in life obeys the reciprocal law, life gives to you what you invested into it, just as you cannot go with your harvesting tools to the farm to harvest what you did not plant it is also very much impossible to earn or expect something profitable from a business you did not invest in. Many businesses has failed and many on their way to crashing because men and women fail to invest. I know when we hear word invest the first thing that comes to mind is something that we are very much familiar with. I would be sharing with us three things to invest in order to get a successful business;

MONEY

This is one of the most important thing or raw material that every business needs to grow, it is not bad to start with a very little amount of money but it is very bad and infact wrong to continue with the little amount and you claim you are good manager of your business. Many businesses suffer because of the lack of finances, most people started with little but it is amazing that they do not know that it is very important to know to continually invest financially into their business, they spend every profit from their business, such a business would not stand the test of time; when inflation comes in they would be found wanting because the capital would not be sufficient for financing.
Saving and investing from your profit is very important,

The fact that your capital is sufficient today doesn’t mean it would be sufficient tomorrow, invest financially on your business today.

This is tactics I learnt from a business seminar few years ago and it worked,

Don’t spend before you save but rather save before you spend, to every increase you get from your business there should always be a specific amount you are to save.

TIME

Time is a very important determinant of the success of every purposeful thing, to be done. It is very important to have employees but your presence is more important, a establishment left in the hands of employees would not flourish, because the employees may or may not put in their best, your presence can change things. Your business needs your attention, so it is very important to make out time.

So long you are not drawn to your business, you would not be able to create time for your business. Nobody is a time freak, everyone is given the same 24hrs a day, it all depends on your ability to make out time, this is what counts.

Your business needs you and your time to survive

Never establish a business just because it is lucrative, go for a business because you love it, it is the love you have for the business that compels to give your time to your business.

IDEA

Money is important but idea is very needful, it may surprise you to know that money do not rule the world and in business but rather idea does, your sole ability to out run your competitors is dependent on your ability to bring forth new ideas. Few years ago, nokia was on top in the communication world, but in a twinkle of an eye she was moved out of the front desk by apple and techno, they didn’t do anything wrong, their only mistake was their inability to birth forth new ideas

your business needs your idea to flourish, your consumers are waiting for more of you. Hence do your best to give your best to your consumers with your great ideas.

Above this there is a much better builder of every business and that is God, make God the builder and your planner, your number 1 consultant.
