Thank you very much for the post @steembusiness. It was a delight to go through it as well as the link provided. These people have given it a serious thought and even have a plan to try to make this self sustainable.
The tech they plan to use is also well thought off and most importantly very well explained on the website . I would suggest people who read the post to definitely visit once.

Yes, that project is just awesome and might really be the start of a huge change. It´s sad that it has to struggle for money as it should be in our all interest to clean the oceans asap. All the microplastic will get back to us through seafood otherwise...
