SteemTrail - Starting As A Curator For "Business" And "Self-Help" Categories

As you already know by now StreemTrail is a project aiming at strengthening the power of Steemit authors by bringing more clarity and structure. Earlier today @instructor2121 announced the second phase of this project, namely releasing category trails: SteemTrail Phase Two: Category Trails Released. I urge you to read that post and to join the steem chat channel referenced there in order to bring more and more curators.

I will be starting to submit posts belonging to the "business" and "self-help" categories to the curation trail immediately. So, in order to bring more clarity and structure to Steem it, I kindly ask you to correctly tag your posts if you want me to find them.

These categories will eventually evolve into subcategories, like "business/marketing", or "self-help/motivation" but for now we're focusing on defining the top-level categories.

Based on the official guidelines for curators I can make the following recommendations for authors in order to increase they chances to have their posts submitted (again, if you're looking to have your posts seen under business or self-help categories):

1. Provide original content and make it easy for us to verify that you own the content or have the rights for the pictures used. You may not make it easy, if so you want, but we will verify it nonetheless. :)
2. If you cite somebody else, please make the source clear (applies to both texts and pictures). Also, provide references that will make it easier for us to verify the source.
3. Length of post should be relative to subject matter. An example would be a video not having any content describing video. That would not qualify the post to submission.
4. Right now we will limit each author to one up-vote per day received from the category account. As each category grows it can choose frequency it will vote per author. These will be rules set by each community.
5. When tags are incorrectly used, we will assist you in selected correct tags. When main tag is incorrect we will advise you to correctly select the tag relevant to post.
6. When sources are not cited, we will assist you with adding that information to current post. We will not vote until this is done.
