Build A What?.... Build A Whale
Build A Whale is a up-vote bot in the Steemit platform. Yes, I said it up-vote bot, but before you jump to any irrational conclusion let me proceed. I first saw Build A Whale at https://steembottracker.com/ where you will see a compiled list of bots you can use to up-vote any post of your choosing. But when I up-voted one of my posts which was https://steemit.com/steem/@cryptoevolve/187-on-police-in-colorado a tribute to police officers in the Colorado area, something pretty cool happened. I was able to be submitted to Build A Whales curation digest.
What is a Curation Digest?
It is a place Build A Whale filters through content to hand select 5 Posts, created by five different content creators. The five selected posts will then be featured in Build A Whales Curation Digest. While you are in the digest your post along with 4 other talented post are exposed to Build A Whales 7,000 plus followers. Think of it like your product is getting moved to the front of a store, instead of in the back where it is hard to be noticed by others, and typically goes unseen.
Robots are bad!.. And they ruin the Steemit platform!..
Well I value your opinion, and at times robots can and do get abused in the Steemit community. But it is still a very bias opinion to have, beings you are reading this post on what can typically be considered a robot. In the tech. world… a computer. If you turn on your computer and it automatically connects to the internet well that my friend is considered a robotic function. Some robot up-votes are extremely excessive, but some people don’t know any better. Even myself for instance. I have used up-vote bots on my post in hopes of getting some Steemit interaction in the platform as well as any helpful feedback. At the end of the day robots will only do what you make them do (good or bad).Fair Enough… I’m sold. How and where.
Well you can visit https://steembottracker.com/ and find @buildawhale, or @ipromote there. Upon doing so you will need to make a minimum bid of 3 SBD when using @buildawhale, or .50 SBD when using @ipromote. After that you just sit back and wait while you resume creating good content. What if Up-vote Bots are just not my thing?.......
Hey I understand completely. If you are doing your best, when it comes to creating content, you are already contributing to the cause my friend. If you would like to contribute more you can make a post about @buildawhale, or vote for @themarkymark (witness) . @themarkymark is transparent and has the support of many in the Steemit community from what I have noticed. The link below is a recent discovery of his, where he has caught a rather large plagiarism scam..... https://steemit.com/abuse/@themarkymark/plagiarist-about-to-walk-off-with-usd2-800-less-than-8-hours-to-act-i-did-my-partThank you guys for the time, and please give Build A Whales Curation Digest a look if you are interested in seeing some good content. Also thank you Build A Whale for giving me a spot in the Digest as well
