Ratel's photos #61 Forest Birds-40
Author: @ratel
Curator: @lturner
While the story is a little difficult to translate, @ratel's stunning photography of local birds is absolutely worth a look.
He comments that the chickadees in Autumn are extremely friendly and took several beautiful captures of one eating burdock seeds.
There is also a photo of a stonechat, a small brown insect-eating bird I'd never heard of but was able to get a close look at through this post.
How Storm Surge Works
Author: @powerdbyweb
Curator: @lturner
@poweredbyweb gives a succinct, easy-to-understand visual on how storm surge works, answering my puzzled curiosity as to why there is so much oceanic flooding AFTER a major hurricane has come through.
B&W Photo Contest - Food -"The Split Gill mushroom"
Author: @fabulousfungi
Curator: @lturner
@fabulousfungi is a wealth of information on a humble little mushroom found worldwide, including some weird and wacky facts that definitely made me blink.
A great read for anyone curious about their everyday surroundings and willing to take a closer look at everyday things our eye often skims past without taking much notice, such as our yard mushrooms.
A cider press, from scrap wood part 1
Author: @fat-elvis
Curator: @lturner
This is Part 1 of how to build a real working cider press from scrap wood.
@fatelvis shows off some great woodworking skills detailing how to build the bucket portion of the press where the real action happens.
If you have access to local deer (ground) apples like we do or happen to have a few trees of your own, a cider press is worth every second to build.
A fun DIY find!
@bethalea here… i can’t WAIT to watch this all the way through! Following… ;)
Tips For Maintaining A Chemical-Free Organic Garden
Author: @samdenton
Curator: @nicnas
I have never been one to garden but I love the idea of having fresh food that you grow your self or even just pretty flowers on the ready. @samdenton writes about how to grow a garden without the harmful pesticides. It may just be me and my ignorance to this subject but I think that when its comes time to grow something I will have to refer back to this article.
His article is rich with tips that seem to be satisfactory in ones approach to growing a garden and keeping the pests away. Who wants to each food, especially fresh food that you grew yourself, with chemicals on them. If you already have a garden or are considering making one, consider checking this out. It is very informative.

since my posts only downgraded after i xfer it to you? not to mention you didnt even reply on my post
The post has been voted on and there is a reply on it as well.
I can see you bid twice, these bids get combined into one larger bid. That is why you see your name twice in the comment.
well but you didnt edit the post you made before (i had already requested 3 or 4 boosts) then i made another two and i lost like 0,30 networth
why is that?
Edit what post? I do not understand what you are asking.
You sent four bids for the same post, they all got combined into a single bid and you got a vote for it.
it was the exactly same % as the first 2 bids, like
can you juyst return my money?
i got downgraded after paying you the 3rd and 4th time for that post
It was one single vote, all the bids were the same post and it is not possible with Steemit to do multiple bids on the same post. The bids get combined in total and that's what we use for the final bid to determine how much we vote.
what im tring to explain is that the % didnt change since the first 2 bids
the 3rd and 4th were useless. got it? NO use
sorry for being harsh but i felt like wasting sbd
man whatever, it had no use
can you refund me or use it on another post ill create? this is nothing to you, .5 sbd?
Once you have voted, you cannot get additional votes. If you saw a % then that means you already got the vote and additional bids don't affect it.
We can only vote once and only once, if you bid more than once before the vote goes out, they will be combined. If you vote afterwards, there is nothing we can do. We cannot re-vote on a post. Steemit does not allow that.
yo? can you answer me?
I have, but I can't always answer within 4 seconds. There are no notifications on Steemit and I am not always refreshing the page over and over.
Dear @buildwhale in the last voting cycle i sent u 0.25 sbd but u did not upvote...please either upvote or refund the sbd...thanks
The bidding windows are 2.4 hours, there is still 18 minutes to the current bidding window and then votes will go out. The votes are not instant like @randowhale.
i am not saying that....its instant...but i had sent the money in the last voting cycle....thats why putting my concern.....hope if u have missed mine in that cycle...u upvote in this cycle...thanks...
