I have a number of experiences when teaching using special tools, sometimes the tools don't work well so we can't rely on the tools completely. Of course we have to have a number of backup plans if something unexpected happens. The most important thing is that the learning process can still be carried out even with minimal media tools.
You are right, no matter what we do in life, we always have to be prepared for the unexpected. (•ิ‿•ิ)
