The Comeback Kid

Fury has wasted no time in putting himself back in the limelight with brash declarations, such as, he is the best heavyweight in the world today and the best of all time. He has recently described himself as Muhammad Ali and Floyd Mayweather rolled into one, personally I don't disagree with him...... if you take Floyd when he was six or seven years old and take Muhammad when he was in his 70's.

I like Fury, maybe not so much as a person, but i recognize that he is good for the sport and brings a lot of excitement. He brings a shock and awe effect that keeps us, the fans guessing. Whats he going to say or do next? No one knows, and weather you love or loathe him, you keep on watching.

Seferi is fighting at heavyweight for only the second time in his career and seems to be nothing more than cannon fodder, an opponent that will allow fury to ease back into the sport without causing too much trouble. Sefer is 39 years old and is considerably smaller at only 5"11 and 4 stone lighter than Fury, but considering how long Fury has been absent from the sport and how he spent that absence, drug abuse and huge weight gain, only time will tell if he still has what it takes to compete anymore.

This fight should be an easy one for Fury, the opposition has been carefully picked to not only get him the win, but to make him look good getting that win. I would be very surprised if this one lasts any longer than 6 rounds. Its not so much the opponent that makes this an enticing fight, but the fact that it could and hopefully will lead to much more exciting and attention grabbing fights against Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua, later on down the line. Boxing has been missing characters like Fury, those who know their roles and are happy to play them, Fury is the big mouthed bad guy and I for one am glad he's back.

The referee is ready, the judges are ready, and the fighters are in the ring... and now fight fans....
