BORNEO is the third-largest island in the world and the largest in Asia. A geographic centre of Maritime Southeast Asia, in relation to major Indonesian islands, it is located north of Java, west of Sulawesi, and east of Sumatra.

The island is politically divided among three countries: Malaysia and Brunei in the north, and Indonesia to the south. Approximately 73% of the island is Indonesian territory. In the north, the East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak make up about 26% of the island.

Additionally, the Malaysian federal territory of Labuan is situated on a small island just off the coast of Borneo. The sovereign state of Brunei, located on the north coast, comprises about 1% of Borneo's land area.

Antipodal to an area of Amazon rainforest, Borneo is itself home to one of the oldest rainforests in the world.

WEEK 1
DAY 1 : ARRIVAL SANDAKAN
Arrive in Sandakan Airport, greet and transfer to your accommodation. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay in Sandakan

DAY 2 : SANDAKAN / SEPILOK (B/-/-)
After breakfast, proceed to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. After short briefing, head to the platform to view the feeding of Orangutan. Continue to explore the tropical rainforest as you walk to the waterholes and bird watching platform (option). Continue program to mini-theatre to view documentary show on the rehabilitation programs. Overnight stay in Sandakan

DAY 3 : SANDAKAN / BILIT (B/L/D)
Breakfast at your lodge. Check out and thereafter transfer to Kampung Bilit in the Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival check in and explore the "Orang Sungai" native village. 4pm begin your river safari in search for wildlife including the long nose monkey as they settle down for the night along the river. Overnight stay in Kampung Bilit

DAY 4 : BILIT (B/L/D)
More activities in the morning arrange by the villagers. Rest of the day, refer to our Tour Guide. Overnight stay in Kampung Bilit

DAY 5 : BILIT / PORING (B/-/-)
Check-out and drive overland to Ranau District to reach Poring hot spring. Explore the tropical rainforest as you follow one of the many trails that lead up to the canopy walkway, 42m above the forest floor. This facility was originally made for scientific research until it was open for the public to experience the breath taking walk on the canopy. Thereafter proceed to nearby hot springs pool which is believed to have therapeutic benefits for skin care. Overnight in Ranau

DAY 6 : SABAH TEA (B/-/-)
Breakfast at your accommodation and proceed to visit Sabah Tea. The only organic tea farm in Borneo and one of the few in the world. A trip to the tea garden is both educational and fun. Proceed for a guided walk to learn how tea is grown and systematically manufactured. Sample Sabah’s herbal tea. Overnight in Ranau

DAY 7 : KINABALU NATIONAL PARK / MATUNGGUNG-KUDAT (B/L/D)
Breakfast at your accommodation. Check out and visit Sabah’s most popular National Park, the Kinabalu National Park gazette as a World Heritage Site in 2000. Thereafter transfer overland drive to Kudat. The journey will take a route along the ocean of oil palm and some native villages in the remote northern part of Sabah. Arrive at Bavanggazo Rungus Longhouse and check in. Enjoy fresh coconut drink and mingle with the friendly natives and their children. In the evening, enjoy a traditional-style dinner followed by colourful cultural performance by the local Rungus community. Overnight stay in Kudat

WEEK 2
DAY 8 : MATUNGGUNG-KUDAT (B/L/D)
Wake up in the morning by the calls from the rooster, breakfast and begin to explore traditional longhouses, honeybee farm and gong making village just nearby. Drive up to the Tip of Borneo where you’ll experience a breathtaking of the South China Sea and the Sulu Sea. After a simple lunch, you are free to swim or just lay lazy on the white sandy beaches. DAY 9 : KUDAT / TAMBUNAN (B/-/D)
After breakfast, check-out and drive overland to Tambunan via Ranau District.
Check-in accommodation and begin to explore the surrounding. Overnight stay in Tambunan

DAY 10 : TAMBUNAN (B/-/D)
After breakfast, transfer to Mahua Waterfall begin to explore the tropical rainforest. If you are lucky, you may even spot a blooming rafflesia, the largest flower in the world. Rest of the afternoon spend your time at the waterfall for cool and refreshing swims. Continue to visit native villages and mingle with the natives cas you walk around their village. Return to your accommodation and rest of the activities will be advised by Tour Guide. Overnight stay in Tambunan

DAY 11 : TAMBUNAN / SOOK (B/-/D)
After breakfast, check out and continue overland drive to the interior Sook via Keningau District. Continue your drive to Kampung Sinua to reach Tainiskon Camp. Rest of the day explore the surrounding and mingle with the native tribes. When weather permit, follow the native guide for ”frog cathcing” activities. Overnight in Kg Sinua Sook
NOTE: re-pack for necessary items only for mountain climb activities i.e. torchlight, warm cloth (temperature between 10C - 13C, 1 night clothing, wind breaker, raincoat, own medication)

DAY 12 : TAINISKON CAMP / MOUNT TRUS MADI (B/L/D)
After breakfast, gear up and begin to trek 5-6 hours to Camp 2 for a distance of approximately 7km. Overnight camping

DAY 13 : SUMMIT / TAINISKON CAMP (B/L/D)
1.30am breakfast, gear up and begin your final ascend approximatley 4km to reach the summit of Malaysia’s 2nd highest mountain (2642m), enjoy the breathtaking view from the summit before descending to Tainiskon Camp. Arrive at camp, clean up and enjoy cultural performance by the native tribe. Overnight Tainiskon Camp

DAY 14 : SOOK / TENOM (B/L/D)
Check-out and begin overland drive to Tenom via Keningau District. On arrival, begin to explore Malaysia’s Biggest Agricultural Park, get to know the local fruits trees, flowering, medicinal or edible plants. After lunch, touring native villages found nearby. Check in accommodation and rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay in Tenom

WEEK 3
DAY 15 : TENOM (B/-/D)
After breakfast,we visit the local coffee factory and rest of the day free at your own leisure. Overnight stay in Tenom

DAY 16 : TENOM / WHITEWATER RAFTING / ULU KIMANIS (B/L/D)
Check out and transfe to Tenom train station for train ride to Pangi Station. Begin to embark on a roller-coaster ride through rapids with names such as Headhunter, Adrenaline Flow and Merry-Go-Round. After a quick lunch, catch a train to continue your train ride to Beaufort District. Upon arrival proceed for overland transfer to Ulu Kimanis. On arrival, check-in and rest of the night free. Overnight stay at Utan Paradise Jungle Camp

DAY 17 : CROKER RANGE NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
After breakfast, pack your clothings, ration and begin jungle trekking 6-8 hours. Overnight jungle camping
Some of the activities for the next couple of days includes; fauna & flora introduction, jungle survival and jungle experience among others.

DAY 18 : CROKER RANGE NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)
Breakfast at your camping site and thereafter return to base camp.
Overnight stay at Utan Paradise Jungle Camp

DAY 19 : ULU KIMANIS / FISH SPA / PAPAR (B/L/D)
Check-out and transfer to Kg Langsat at Papar District. En route visit Kg Kinolosodon Papar fish spa also known as fish massage. Deemed to have a curative effect on those who suffers from psoriasis. On arrival in Kg Langsat meet forster family and check-in to your home. Overnight at Kg Langsat Homestay

DAY 20 : PAPAR (B/-/-)
Breakfast at your accommodation. Gear up and take a short ride to the beach. Rest of the day enjoy your day on the beach. Overnight at Kg Langsat Homestay

DAY 21 : PAPAR / KOTA KINABALU (B/-/-)
After breakfast, check out. Return transfer to Kota Kinabalu

WEEK 4
DAY 22 : TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN MARINE PARK ISLANDS (B/L/D)
Afetr breakfast, transfer to Jesselton Point for boat shuttle to Abdul Rahman Marine Mark Island. Camp set up and rest of the day free on your own activities. Overnight camping at Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park

DAY 23 : TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN MARINE PARK ISLANDS (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you are free at leisure.

DAY 24 : KOTA KINABALU (B/-/-)
12noon return to mainland and check in at your accommodation. Rest of the day you are free to explore the city. Overnight stay in Kota Kinabalu

DAY 25 : LOK KAWI WILDLIFE PARK / FAREWELL DINNER (B/-/D)
After breakfast, transfer to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. The park consists of two components: zoological and botanical. The main objective of the park is to become a family-oriented park and the emphasis is put on the Children’s Zoo. Among the inhabitants of the zoo (zoological component) are the Borneo Pygmy elephants, Sumatran rhinoceros, Orang Utan, Proboscis monkey, Malayan tiger, as well as some different species of deer. Return to your accommdoation and rest. 5pm meet at lodge and transfer to (TBA) for farewell gathering. Overnight stay in Kota Kinabalu
