Bloodbrothers, Richard Price. First Edition.

Here's another Richard Price for you guys. Bloodbrothers was Price's second novel, published in 1976. The plot follows eighteen-year-old Stony De Coco growing up in working-class Bronx as he makes the choice to either join his father's tightly knit construction worker's union or go off an forge his own path. It's a gritty and realistic coming of age story, written with Price's impeccable ear for dialogue. This is the first printing:

Two years later it was adapted into a film of the same name, directed by Robert Mulligan and starring Richard Gere, Paul Sorvino, Tony Lo Bianco and Marilu Henner. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Here's a clip:
