Book News of the Day – Bigfoot Erotica Has Become a Major Controversy in a US House of Representatives Race.

I just stumbled across this story and it's just too good not to share. In the midst of a hotly contested US House of Representatives race in Virginia, democratic candidate Leslie Cockburn (aptly named!) has accused her republican rival, Denver Riggleman, of being both a white supremacist and a fan of bigfoot erotica. Cockburn shared a photo on Twitter, taken from Riggleman's Instagram page, of a bigfoot creature with its genitals censored. “Now he has been exposed as a devotee of Bigfoot erotica," she said. According to The Huffington Post, "Riggleman until recently had been promoting a self-published book with the same “Mating Habits of Bigfoot” title on Facebook, according to The Cook Political Report. He has since deleted that page. Riggleman also co-wrote a book more than a decade ago titled Bigfoot Exterminators Inc.: The Partially Cautionary, Mostly True Tale of Monster Hunt 2006. The Daily Progress newspaper in Charlottesville noted the book doesn’t appear to be sexual in nature."
