The Bookchain, where the story starts, at the end. A SteemIt original.

in #bookchain8 years ago (edited)

What if, a story started at then end, and you could write how it all began? Now would that not be a great idea for a social media platform build on a blockchain, like Steem ON Graphene? Anybody can start a storyline, providing the epilogue, using #bookchain as the first tag. Then the rest is up to fantasies the creative minds of the SteemIt community. Will there be many storylines, which one gets the most votes, the highest payouts and what gets the most comments?

Here the logo for the preview image is presented as a highres PNG file. Most applications will be able to load this in so you can add your own things to it. There is some room left to do so. With this template and the use of the main tag anybody who wants to trail this can do so easily. Today, december the 15th I will do the spin with the first Epilogue in this collaborating writing series. You could make a short story that becomes like the 'merkel root' for a bookchain. Maybe you want to add a painting, or make music for the film, or make the movie, or a podcast, well then go for it!

Just put a link at the end of your post to the BookChain epilogue that inspired you and you are in the game! You decide what you do, post it with 50/50 payout, or no payout, or complete power up. All that matters is that it's your Fruit Of Work {FOW}, that is expressed.

Have fun, don't let anyone hold you back!

Bookchain tips

  • If you start your own Bookchain with an epilogue, put a link back to this post as a how-to reference.
  • Use a header called "BOOKCHAIN LINKS:" with the links back to the how-to and the previous post, if your post is a spin-off.
  • Put this under the Bookchain links list: "Did you make a spin off post? Then let it know in a comment below!"
  • Did a spin off? Put it in a comment of the post you made a spin off from.
  • Let's asume you did a spin off from the spin off from a certain BookChain epilogue, then you'd put a link to the post you based your Fruit Of Work {FOW} on. That way it will always chain back to the original 'root'.
  • Put the image after the last part of your Fruit Of Work {FOW}.
  • After this you can place the references and so on.

See my first Bookchain: "Yuletide Funnyfarm" for reference or to have a go at it, of course!
