Night of the Christmas Tree [Bonsai][Christmas]

As promised, here are the miraculous night photos of my bonsai Christmas tree on a clear night.

At night, the shadows fold over and hide the branches, revealing only the twinkling colored lights hidden inside.

The lights represent the stars of the universe. Some people think of the stars as distant angels. Some people see their ancestors painted across the night sky watching over us inside the constellations. Cosmic powers locked away in another dimension that we can still see across the galaxy. We tell our children the stories the ancient legendary deeds of these mythical heroes.

Floating stained glass windows are painted on nearby surfaces. With a Christmas tree nearby, every wall suddenly becomes a mystical church window. The holiness of the light welcomes our honor. Gracious light is a free gift, living by example so that we might pass on the same tradition to others. Gladness and gratitude is the true reason for the season.

The north pole is fabled to be the location of Santa's magical toy workshop where all the elves help him to craft toys to be given to all the children of the world. Santa doesn't sell his toys or collect charity for all the work he does. The giving is all done freely, and quite easily, because Santa is the source of all Christmas magic that represents joy, generosity, festiveness, and holiday cheer.

Time stands still on Christmas Eve, allowing Santa to invisibly ride his magic sleigh pulled by eight enchanted reindeer. Though he is a man of great girth, he is able to effortlessly slide through the chimneys of every house without getting a speck of ash on his royal red and white fur suit. His bag holds all the toys for every boy and girl, yet it magically stays small and light enough to carry on his back. Santa never has a hard time finding the right present in his bag, because he remembers all the children and their deeds, and he knows exactly which gift they asked for.

On Christmas night, I like to believe that this is the night when the stars are closet to us and easiest to see. As the Solstice ends, the universe rejoices. Winter will begin to fade, and Spring warms will return. Do not waste Christmas night though. The light of the universe is seeking to reach our hearts and to bring us new gifts.
