I joined quite recently just to respond to @sugarfix and his bad opinions about STEEM. I couldn't be arsed arguing in the end (see comments). He's not gonna change his mind.

I've learned it's no point trying to let those who have already chosen an opinion waste your time, there's plenty of people still unaware of this new tech and the possibilities. The Reddit thread proved how little people know in general and how they grab at straws to try and "win over" arguments.
There's some other damning posts on publish0x, that was written by an active Steemian and is positive.
Another was written very recently but the info contained pertains to things from a year ago. Bid Bots rule STEEM etc..., /facepalm.
Facts don't matter to these people, don't worry they're the ones that are gonna fomo buy or fomo join and complain about not having any influence or getting any rewards and how unfair everything is because they make nothing cause they just got here.

You are just another butthurt teen that takes criticism of something you are into as a personal attack. If you respond to any problem with passive aggresiveness or outright agression you will never progress in life.

Arf as a whiole gang of butthurt teens come out to vote. This is precisely what is wrong with this set up. The binary option clause. Either you agree with the herd and so remain a member of the cult or you disagree and get wailed on. Over time there are more issues to disagree on (it's impossible to agree over everything) and slowly over time the cult gets thinned out until there are just a few zealots left sitting on worthless baubles.
For Steem to survive and become mainstream it needs to be inclusive and welcoming rather than have people behaving like you and your hissy fit throwing chums.
Do you seriously think people are going to hang around when they see this sort of behavior? Well do you?
Are you going to get all defensive now and pin the decline of Steem onto people like me or are you going to behave like an adult and take responsibility for your actions? If you don't in a couple of weeks time we'll be seeing rinse and repeat with more people. And again, and again, and again.
I don't get this idea of you thinking I'm 'butthurt' over anything, far from it I'm happy here. You are not, so who's butthurt now?
If you look at my original comment it was telling you things have changed, but what I get from you is personal insults, hence the flag... it was deserved.

I go out of my way to welcome new people, vote for them, resteem their content. What do you do for new users?
There's lots of things wrong here, I do see grey scales as you call them. I can't change these things no more than I can change world poverty.

Pretty easy really. Someone who is butthurt doesn't add to the conversation or respond to a perceived problem but attacks the person instead. they feel by spitting out some inner fury they assuage their ego and can feel superior again.

I'm not the one that rounded up their mates to attack someone to make themselves feel good.
