Depending on what social media network you are posting to can depend on when the optimal time is for posting. For instance Twitter tends to work great late at night (when less people in your area are using it. Whilst Facebook, morning and afternoon posts work well.

What you are best doing is monitoring your posts to see the amount of reactions and engagement and trialling posting at differenet times of the day

Using social media analytics will give you vital information and using such social media software programs such as Hootsuite who will automatically work out the best time of day to schedule your social media posts will give you more of an impact.
