My New Whip - Hummer H3
So after months of looking and researching I finally bought me a new ride. I went with a 2006 Hummer H3 as it is an excellent platform for turning into an Off-Road Overlanding Vehicle and since it is built on the Chevy Colorado chassis and drive train getting parts is relatively easy.

I paid $9100 (after TTL) for the Hummer H3 and will probably spend another $15,000 to get it the way I want it. This is going to be my RETIREMENT VEHICLE/HOME so I can do the traveling I want to do on a budget.

I didn't realize it was buit on the Colorado chassis and drive train. That is the nice thing about GM products. They utilize the same parts for a lot of their different vehicles so the cost of replacement can be a lot less.
