2018 what an awesome year hey!

It was about a little over 1 year ago now that I first got into crypto, I bought some Cardano (ADA) and watched it hit the moon and I was hooked. I made some great returns of that.

I even screen printed some Lambo shirts that I sold on ebay and I put all profits back into crypto haha it was the golden era looking back at it now.

Not long after, YouTube stopped monetizing my YouTube channel so I started to look for another video hosting site and I came across Dtube which is how I found myself on Steemit in January 😀

And I'm loving it! Steemit has been a great place to blog about my rollerblading and travel adventures which has bettered my skills in writing and has been an avenue to share my photography, videos and meet some awesome people along the way.

At the start I had no idea how to blog, but with each post I learned more.

So here is my reflection of 2018😀

I started my 2018 sailing the river Nile in Egypt with my girlfriend. It was the middle of the day and in winter. We did the count down for Australian time and we ran into the river at midnight. It was freezing cold but what a way to kick off the new year!

So that set the standard for the year... Ticking off boxes in 2018!

We travelled all through Egypt then headed to Jordan where we got to explore Petra ✔️

Then we headed to the Dead Sea and got to float around for 2 days it was amazing ✔️

After Jordan we had a 2 day stop over in Abu Dhabi, so we went straight to Ferrari World to ✔️ off driving a Ferrari on the highway.

Now that was a lot of fun!!

Our adventures through the middle east came to an end and I was back in my shed printing t-shirts.

I run a small screen printing business from home and each year it has grown bigger and bigger and is my full time job. So I am constantly saving to go on the next big adventure.

Inbetween I went on some skate trips to different skate comps around Australia because in 2018 I wanted to travel as much as possible.

Before we knew it we were off to Bali for my best friends bday. It was an amazing time in Bali and then we headed to Gili T Island.

Gili T is so beautiful and relaxing. There are no cars or motorbikes on the island so the only transport is to walk, bicycle or horses.

The best part is, just off the coast of Gili T there are amazing snorkelling spots and I got to swim with turtles ✔️

Bali was a super rad 6 day adventure, then I was back in the shed printing until my next adventure for my bday to New Zealand to go snowboarding.

We flew into Christchurch then headed to Mt Hutt where we spent 3 days snowboarding with my mates. Best bday ever!!

I have never snowboarder before let alone seen it actually snow, so it was such an amazing time to experience this with my mates. ✔️

Then back into the shed to make some more $$ for our huge end of the year adventure.

I picked up a touring company client to print shirts for all their up coming tours. I got to print shirts for a hiphop artist MadChild who I am a fan of ✔️

I received an invite to come down to Victoria to compete in the first Australian Mega Ramp comp. I was super excited and booked my tickets straight away. The comp was the day after the Australian rollerblading titles in Geelong Victoria so it was perfect timing.

The Mega Ramp has been number 1 on my list for a long time now and I was honoured they invited me to come and skate it.

I have always wanted to 360 a mega ramp and after three goes I worked it out and landed it ✔️

I even placed 3rd in the best trick comp with the 360 😁

I was over the moon with the fact that I got to tick that off the list, it was a day I will remember for ever.

Now as I sit here at the airport with my girlfriend about to embark on a 1 month adventure through 6 countries. With the most part on safari through Africa, it truly was an amazing year reflecting back on all the adventures we had and all the boxes we got to ✔️

Work hard, play hard😊

Oh and we got a free upgrade to business class on Emirates wooohoooo 🍺🍺
Never flown business before so last minute ✔️

I won't have much WiFi for the next month to post regularly on Steemit so I'll check back in when ever I get a chance.
