I'm having an affair with Steemit. uh oh 😧
Since I joined Steemit a few weeks ago now, I have become more and more intrigued by this platform and the opportunities it offers, more and more interested in the content that is posted and more and more interested in posting good content for fellow steemians to check out. I have noticed I spend a lot more time on steemit now and hardly ever check facebook anymore.
Because of this new found interest in my life, I can feel myself start to dislike things about facebook (like how you would dislike things that someone you stopped liking would do). I'm starting to fall out of love with facebook and have a new exciting romance to pursue. Some could say I'm cheating uh oh
Either I just never noticed them or theyre new updates but theres multiple things about facebook that are now starting to frustrate me and I am constantly comparing facebook with steemit.

Now I understand its a part of growing a business, growing profits and bla bla but mate, its shit.
Coloured Statuses
Um who the fuck decided it was a cool idea to make coloured statuses. Ew
Facebook Stories
I hate those stupid snapchat wannabe stories that facebook have tried to adopt. Um no hun, not today.
All the fishing for likes tweenies
I mean yeah, I suppose upvoting is slightly similar but you dont see half naked girls all over steemit trying to make a few xtra dollars - Although...
As my commitment for steemit steadily grows, the less time I spend with facebook. Soon enough, it will be just me and you, steemy 😉

Yeah I really loved your post - It was so relatable! I just find myself spending hardly any time on facebook anymore, which I am not mad about, and it makes me kind of feel like a cheater haha 😆 Thanks @redhens
The one killer feature of Steemit that keeps me here, even when there a flag wars going on and other crap - is the lack of advertising.
I had a day (probably several days) when my entire feed on Facebook was advertising. Some of it disguised as stories, but all of it was paid for content selling something.
So Facebook is like womens' magazines - full of ads, full of fluff, no real content that has any value.
Steemit is like a real old fashioned newspaper - it has real news, interesting articles, and yes if you look hard enough, page 3 girls. No-one said Steemit was perfect. ;-)
