The constant war between your head and your heart

Hey guys, lately I've been dealing with a friend who recently got out of a relationship. Now the day of the breakup she was clear headed and listening to her head, she knew the guy was no good and that it was better for them not to be together but the next day her heart took control of her head and suddenly all she wanted was this guy.

I've been trying to convince her to listen to her head again but, talking to someone like that is like trying to blow a brick house down with your lips...

It's hard to be supportive of someone when you know that they are going to get hurt. Honestly I don't know how parents do this.

I guess it's true that the heart wants what it wants, I just wish it wanted what was good for you.

I personally think that it's important to have a good balance between head and heart. They should both want the same thing. If they don't you always end up hurt one way or the other
