Daily Dose of Sultpapper 05/10/18 > Yesterday was 85 years and no one noticed… bank holiday.
This national bank holiday actually started March 6, 1933 when President Franklin D. Roosevelt was in office and it was his official proclamation that was the starting point for the holiday. The holiday was a three day holiday and was given and ending date of March 9th , I ‘ve waited until the 10th to bring this up just in case some news caster might have stumbled upon this and would mention it but it has never happened in the thirty years I have been paying attention to it. I would have hoped that for the 85th anniversary someone would mention it but I guess not, so I will.
The proclamation that President Roosevelt made back in March of 1933 was the creation of the “bank holiday” which closed the banks for three full days. The reason was the people had figured out that the government was bankrupt and the people were making a “run on” the banks to get their money out in gold and silver.
The proclamation was the official declaration that placed the country in a state of “national emergency”, do you know what happens when the country is in a state of emergency? I didn’t think so. They don’t really teach that in school anymore, and when they did, they always made it sound like it had to do with war or a natural disaster. The truth is the big national emergency from 1933 is still going on today, so we deserve the same three day holiday.
In a national emergency the constitution is suspended, yep, it is suspended. It has been since that day President Roosevelt issued the national emergency and it has continued on by continuing resolution ever since then. So that constitution that you think is protecting your rights isn’t doing a thing except collecting dust in some vault in Washington, D.C.
Roosevelt and congress went so far as to confiscate all the gold coin and gold bullion from the people and made it illegal to possess gold coins. Pretty said when your country steals your money and then makes it a crime if you get caught with any of it that you didn’t turn in. That is the country you live in, if you live in the United States, and people wonder why we try every way we can to keep our guns.
Everything that takes place in Washington is nothing but a charade, made to act like we are still operating as the country we were founded as, but we are not. Why do think all the stuff the congress and senate create up there are called “acts”, because it is just like play, an act complete with the actors.
Don’t take my word for it, spend some time yourself and go read the congressional records and the senate reports for yourself. I guarantee you that you won’t like what you find in those, that are why civics is no longer taught in schools, and why they teach American government. When they hijacked the money and the constitution they also hijacked the law, which was common law and replaced it with codes and statutes.
I could go on and on but until you see it for yourself it doesn’t seem to resonate; so I’ll just stop right here and call it a night.

This is fascinating stuff sultnpapper. I did not know that about the american constitution. I'm not really very politically savvy, and am a brit anyway so can just about keep up with what our idiot government get up to, but it's interesting to hear different stories/views about politics all around the world. It's one of the great things about steemit, gaining that insight of someone else perspective on things.
If you think this is fascinating you haven't seen anything yet. I'm almost afraid to share some of the stuff, sim ply because the people here in the US will be quick to call a conspiracy theorist or just plain crazy, so I have to take little baby steps when I break the news and shatter the perceptions of my fellow Americans, but it is all right in the congressional records and senate reports , all they have to do is read it.

Wow, that's pretty terrible that they confiscated gold. At that point were we on the gold standard? I don't think they do that today though, but I guess they don't need to ha.....
Yes. we were on the gold standard. Technically we still are but you would never know it because we are still under the "national emergency" and the constitution is suspended. Gold coin is the only LAWFUL money of the United States of America. So they get around that by using "legal tender" . There is as huge difference between LAWFUL and LEGAL which I won't go into right now or this reply will longer than the daily dose that prompted it.

We have been dumb down so bad over here it is to the point that it just makes me want to throw in the towel and quit trying to educate people. But, I'll continue on since I have young kids that need to know the truth.
It is scary, but the even scary part is no one seems to care.
I think we are talking about most governments here. Governments hijack the laws and make them work for them. Itis to fill the pockets of those in government and leve the rest struggling to make ends meet...
Pretty much right, government is for those in government, the people are just needed to fund it.
Preach on brother! The entire government has been high jacked by "actors" pretending they have our best interest at heart but all they care about is the damn lobbyist money that is thrown at them.. The government stopped caring about us a long time ago, they only care about power and money.. Great article my friend.

My Dad's dad didn't curse much out loud but when he did it was pretty liable to be "Gott Verdammer Roosevelt". Seems he didn't think really highly of the 4 term president.
Probably with cause, I might add. Grandpa was a naturalized citizen that took his contract with his adopted land very seriously. To play pinochle with him on Sunday afternoon you better know not only every President and Vice President in the 20th century (his time in the US) but you better be able to name the failed President and Vice President candidates also. There was more, much more.
They gave up their gold. Most of it. They hid 2 of each denomination just in case. I got a $2.50 gold piece when Grandpa died. I was dumbfounded by it.
It pretty much insures there will never be a period of 'Pax America' doesn't it? My father was a 'free American' but only until he was in the first grade. I don't suppose he took much notice, he was busy getting his left handedness beaten out of him. Another story entirely.
For the record: Grandpa liked Teddy. He signed the homestead patent on Grandpa's first farm.

Sounds like your father was going into the first grade in '33 if he was a "free American" up until the first grade. Most people have never seen a true piece of real lawful United States of America money so you are very fortunate not only to see it but actually own it. The paper we carry around in our wallets and purses is not money but people have no clue. A Federal Reserve Note is a debt instrument, not money, but they don't want people to understand the difference. Notes are I O U's , like as in a mortgage note.
Exactly. My Dad was born in '27, my mom in '28. I do have some silver and silver certificate paper, too. The last vestige of the America of the Constitution.

That is the tip of the iceberg Jay. I hope you do read more about the true history of the United States of America and to get that you have to read the congressional records and the senate reports. Not the history books. In fact if you go look at the History.com and their day in history for March 6 thru March 9 you won't find a word about it. Because the goal is to hide the truth from us.

I agree most people like to find a source that tells them what they want to hear and take that to be the truth
Thanks for continuing to speak up on these subjects. I knew some of this. Honestly, I push much of this to the back of my mind, feeling like there isn't much I can do. However, we need to be informed, ALL of us. I appreciate your efforts.
As long as you push it to the back of your mind and feel like you can't do much, you will be exactly right, you can't.
But if you know about it and start questioning your elected officials about these issues and ask them to explain how these things are like, "congressman how is it that gold coin is the only lawful money allowed by the constitution yet we have no gold coin money in circulation?" or "why has has the country been under a continuous state of emergency since 1933?"
You need to remember, these elected people had the same education you had, which didn't teach you this stuff, so they might honestly not know, but even if you don't get an answer,it is always fun to watch them squirm around as they try and come up with one. so go to a "town hall" meeting the next time you get a chance or campaign fund raiser and start asking questions.
