The Dog Walker

Nico,our 2 year old Goldendoodle, is a high energy, life loving, exuberant being. We try and take him for a walk, usually on the beach, most days. But some days we are busy or out exploring parts of Puerto Rico that are not friendly to dogs, and so occasionally we have to leave him locked up in our condo. Thus the need for a dog walker...

I reached out to a few local friends with dogs and repeatedly I was referred to the same person for the job, Natasha. My friends raved about her kindness, reliability and her sense responsibility. So we met and agreed on a schedule for her to help with Nico.

Turns out - Natasha is everything my friends claimed and more! I will just share below the text update she sent me after her first walk appointment with Nico and the photos she provided.

Good afternoon, Cindy...!

My first date with Nico was amazing and we both enjoyed it fully. At my arrival, Nico received me at the lobby door with the red collar in his mouth. So adorable..! It was like saying: “Where were you? Come on...take me out!” 🤣

So, we proceeded to leave. We walked towards the hospital area and Nico peed twice (long streams) and pooped once abundantly and not watery. 👍🏽 It was very solid and looked okay. We then walked towards the beach and surrounded it all the way down to *** Ave through *** Street. The beach was extremely full and plenty of dogs at it.

On our way back, a lady asked to take a picture with Nico and so she did....(I hope that’s okay) she was in love with him. We also found a dog’s tag at the street and we called the number behind it. So we met Onix (Yorkshire terrier) who happens to live at the building next to yours and said that he saw you this morning with Nico....😍

I left Nico in great company...😻 He drank water as soon as we walked in. And also left to your room immediately after that. I left the leash and collar together besides his toy box. I also closed and locked the door behind me. 🙏🏽
