TIMBER IN SINGAPORE - A DIFFERENT KIND OF FOOD COURT! - 不是普通的食阁Timber+ (featuring Author @ace108)

Recently met my ex-boss for dinner at Timber+.

This is an interesting kind of food court. By day on a weekday, most working people from the offices nearby come for lunch for the normal local grub. Late afternoon, many stalls selling local food will start to close while the other stalls continue to be the remaining dinning flare and also converting the place to a drinking place. There is also a stage which I assume some band plays though I didn't stay long enough for the gig but there was already music from the big speakers in the evening.
Whether you eat there in the day or night, there is something you need to remember. When you buy your food, you pay $1 as a deposit for the tray. 这是一个不同的食物阁。在平日，在附近的上班一族到这里吃午餐-多是吃新加坡道地食物。午餐市过后，很多摊位都开始关闭，而其他摊点继续到夜晚带给你不同的感觉。晚上除了吃以外，这也转变成喝酒聊天的去处。还有个歌台。应该晚点有乐队上场吧。傍晚没演奏时，那大喇叭也播放音乐。
无论是午餐或晚餐，有件事你要记得。买吃的时候，你已经付$1当做托盘的押金。所以吃饱后，别忘了把托盘拿去回收处换回$1.

Finally, my choice for dinner was this cajun chicken set (set comeswith choice of 2 side dish) for $7.
最后决定吃$7的西餐-cajun chicken套餐。套餐包挂鸡肉柳和两个配菜。上网查过，cajun chicken 翻成印第安鸡但不知是否正确。
