When should you run away from your belief ?

We all know belief has great power and effect in our day to day life, and to a large extent belief evolves from our experience of things over a period of time.

So we start believing in something and then put up a plan to work to achieve what we believe. But often there may be times when your belief may come wrong. So at that point of time, the reality should prevail on your belief, otherwise, it may negatively impact you.

A recent incidence at my place is a great example I want to share.

Over hundreds of cobras were being rescued from a person's home at my place, and is still continuing, as you can see in the video. And all these cobras were living inside his house along with the family members :). The reason - his belief.

He is having six rooms in his house, and in one of the room, termite mound started growing few years back. And then after few days, he felt there could be cobras inside the termite mounds. So he started offering milk and prayer to them, every day over the years, with the belief that, it may bring him some fortune.

Over the years, it continued, and there was absolutely no problem. However, few days back, when some hatchlings came out to the other room, they were discovered by his child, when he stepped on them. And this alarmed a bell, and they called for snake helpline, which is still busy to hunt the parent cobras.

So this particular incidence teaches us that, belief is important, but it should also be based on your experience of facts. Else sometimes it may dangerously burn you out.
