Everyone knows that one of the best things you can do is to not repeat passwords on different sites. The other rule is that a longer password is a safer password. These 2 things are hard to do on your own. Luckily, with Encryptr, you do not have to.

What is this?

Encryptr is a free program for storing passwords, credit card information, and text files in a secure way.

What makes this special

Besides the fact that it is free, there are a multitude of reasons to use this program.

I have been using this service for years on windows. linux, and 2 different phones without a problem. One of my favorite features is the ability to double tap a password to automatically add if to your clipboard. That really helps since your passwords are blurred by default. No one can make you give them your passwords if you don't know what they are! There is also a place to put comments in any account info entry. I put my steemit keys in there if I want to log onto steemit from a computer I don't trust. I would really recommend installing this on a usb and just keeping it around with you. You never know when you will need it.

One of the best pieces of freeware out there. It is super convenient and helpful, but I wish it had fingerprint support.
