The community-based organization is a public or private nonprofit organization that is representative of a community and works to meet community needs. These organization between works for the welfare of people and established the social organization to fulfill their needs and overcome the problem they face in the society. It is formed by the people who know each other or who share a common experience and their continued existence does not depend upon outside initiative.
It is connected with NGOs and INGOs. It deals with local people. They have particular objectives and functions such as organizing festivals, managing for rituals from birth and death and entertainment, etc.
