I think that it is very doubtful that Assad would have used chemical weapons at this stage in the game. Wiki leaks released docs from the Saudis stating that they want to remove Assad by any means necessary. My guess is the whole thing was staged like the Russians said along with the air strikes that followed. It's really hard to believe anything anymore...
