Good morning Steemit
I'm a bit later than usual, sorry!
I was just watching X-men Apocalypse, because I wasn't sure if I had seen it before. I had, but it's still a nice movie to re-watch.
So! The sun is actually shining today! Well... this morning atleast, because apparently, there are clouds and rain on the menu for the afternoon. Oh well, can't expect much else this time of year. We'll most likely have a dry and sunny weekend though. We'll probably go work in the garden back at my old house. Gotta take advantage of this.
My plans for today are few. My boyfriend will be home late from work, so I gotta keep myself entertained a bit longer. Shouldn't be much of a problem. I didn't really do much gaming yesterday, but I might today.
Yesterday, I did some steeming, watched tv and I also did some baking! I wanted to make apple pie, but I don't have my pie forms here yet. So instead of a big pie, I tried making two small ones inside my lava cake cups. It worked out really well, though the dough could have been a bit more tasteful.
Yum! I still have one left for today. I'll make them again sometime soon, because my boyfriend didn't get to taste them... I'll try to improve the dough next time.
For dinner, I made sweet potato fries with cinnamon! That was also pretty tasty.
I'm not sure if I'll be making anything today. On the one hand, I do feel like it, but on the other, I don't really know what to make yet. I kind of need a couple more ingredients from stores that have namebrand stuff. Oh well, we'll see!
And that's all I have to share today. Time to do some curating.

I want my mum's apple pie! Home-made apple pie is the best, especially when it's still warm :D
Some vanilla ice cream above the apple pie/crumble would be nice :P

Yeah, I wanted to make some lines over the apple, but the dough was too crumbly, so... apple crumble it is :D

I am sorry but... X-men Apocalypse was the worst piece of shit I ever watched. I was just so disappointed. Truly didn't do Michael Fassfender any justice.
Aww, many people don't seem to like it (or the other 'young' X-men movies). I don't know, I guess I'm a bit bias, because I like both Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy as actors. I don't look at movies with too critical an eye and superhero movies do well with me most of the time :-)
Haha I was being a hard ass, but wow, it was just... bad. X-men First Class was amazing though.
The best way to entertain yourself and the food looks crispy :) Lucky your bf is to have a chance to have it tasted. A cool recipe:)
