Cycling in the Peak District
Hey everyone,
Earlier this year, myself and 3 of my work colleagues went on a 3 day cycling holiday in the Derbyshire peak district in the UK. There are plenty of hills here, some are a bit crazy with 20% gradients. Good fun to climb, but challenging when all you are used to is the Norfolk Fens (one of the flattest parts of the UK). However, our training before our trip served us well and we managed 3 really good rides (well all except Wayne who got food poisoning after lunch on day 2 and spent 36 hours in bed). Next year we are planning to spend a few days in the Yorkshire Dales. Should be another excellent trip, albeit without the lunchtime burger.

That Derbyshire view is quite nice.
I'm cyclist as well but of the mountain bike variety. I've been unable to ride because of traveling recently so I'm looking forward to getting on the trail for some excitement.
Maybe pack some activated charcoal in case one of your colleagues goes for the questionable food again :) It's helped me quite a number of times.
