On September 13, The Talos Security Intelligence and Research Group (Cisco Talos) found that the official download of CCleaner 5.33 and the free versions of CCleaner Cloud 1.07.3191 "is a malicious payload that includes domain generation algorithms and hardcoded command and control functionality." What this means is that a hacker has infiltrated from anywhere in the development of the development process in the conventional construction of the Avast Peripheral, which can prevent the malware designed to steal the user's data. Cisco Talos suspects that the attacker has "compromised" a part of the development of CCleaner or has created and leveraged the environment which is the access to inserting malware in CCleaner construction that was organized by the organization and it was hosted. " Thus, the personal information of customers was not at risk.

How to protect your PC from that hacked software?

The affected software of CCleaner is 5.33.6162 (32-bit). So you should ensure that you are running version 5.34 or higher.
If you are still using this version (5.33.6162 32-bit) then update is ASAP.

(If you want to uninstall CCleaner from your pc & you are using Windows 10 then go to Start> Settings> System> Apps & Features, then search it in the list and select Uninstall.)
