Author posts statistics (numbers)
Statistics and numbers have always interested me so I have done the following....
I have spent some time this morning, gathering some data on my first 101 published posts and these are the results.

avg Post payout 0.77$
avg comment per post 6.3
avg Voting count per post 37
I have tried to post on a wide variety of topics and included a few promo give away contest as a way to increase my follower base which currently stands at 187. But I have to be quite honest and say that I have published many a bad a post, its reassuring to see that bad content does not normally get rewarded here. Having said that Im looking forward to the next 100 posts and there has been a notable increase of late in activity including payouts and comments which makes feel optimistic. I am not here for the author rewards, I have purchased enough steem with my own money to feel good about my long term investment here in this amazing revolutionary blockchain experiment.
I had originally planned on using some graphs to show these numbers but after having input most of the data, my system crashed and had to reboot.
Those don't look to bad on the numbers. I need these author rewards to move up. Yet feel glad I'm making some decent posts.
Crunching numbers is fun, perhaps a little depressing when u look at total author payouts 75% of 78$ is not much I am going to look at my curation numbers next.
Have not looked at those yet. I did the break down not taking post payout but author reward specific. Took a bit but looking for ideas of what has worked. Still working it all through.
For the curation might want to look at time before voting to see how that might also adjust the curation payout for you. Something I need to look into as well.
Curation looks a tad too tricky. First you have to build up enough SP then you have to know the right time to upvote. Amazing.
I currently can't upvote cos my upvotes are worthless at the moment. There's nothing more heartbreaking than seeing a high number of upvotes producing very little payout. The reason for this is that many upvotes contribute 0 cents to payout.
The more SteemPower you get the more your vote counts, it does take a bit to get there. I'm still just over 1k.
