I'm not getting into the ethical issues about steemit, on steemit.

I get your point and I would have enjoyed reading your views.

I think my views on this subject are far more valuable than the steemit ecosystem will reward me for.
(healthy narcissism is very different than malignant narcissism.).
The free market is always right, so we will have to see...

I believe that my views on this subject, - and the steem ecosystm in general - have value.

An ecosystem built on logic, without an ethical template, is a double edged sword.
Loyalty is non existent - and 'approved behaviors' is judged by political acumen, and manipulation of systems. Not human values.

Hence the double edged sword.

Loyalty is a quality not present in the malignant narcissist or sociopath - only the illusion of it - to help them lead the gullible to place they see as advantageous.

Loyalty can seem illogical in a logical world, for logic doesn't posses ethic.

Loyalty can seem eminently logical in the world of human values. One of ethical behavior.

_While computer and code can do it's best to mirror through data and algorithm - it can never truly get it.

Humor, for example, cannot be algorithmed. And laughing is a most human of qualities_.

Any loyalty given to share price or algorithms, is loyalty to money! ffs .....is a loyalty to something not human.
...and then you will get....Well....the soulless place that we have now.

Have a look around the world today, and you can see the results of it . Starkly.

In society, and in business practice.

If you are not part of the solution due to expediency - then you are part to of the problem because of cowardice. (not you @whatsup - but the wider you).

A cowardice that is borne from (I would suggest), a fear of looking at oneself in the mirror - and accepting that you've been cheated. Made... a... fool... of.
Not only cheated, but also willing participant of the very system that has cheated you.
That is a bitter pill to swallow.
And way too bitter for the coward to swallow.

So instead of courage and loyalty coming to the fore in a person, the sophist and the authoritarian emerge. A supporter of the corrupt paradigm.

Reality has then to be inverted , just to look sane to these people....(postmodernism, anyone?)

With the insanity that they choose (through a cowardice in facing reality) they will then spend their lives defending their fake reality.

They are not defending their fake reality though, Oh no. ...

.... they are defending their decision to not face up to their own inadequacies.

The fences that we have sat on as a society, for the last 100 years, are no longer present - no matter how many people delude themselves to wishing otherwise.

Philosophical lines of battle are being drawn up - whether we like it or not. The war is here.

Sophistry cannot exist within the same camp as truth, and this is the battle.
Not religion, sex, or politics - they are just the uniforms .

The battle is of the mind.

It is no coincidence that the philosophical position of the sophist/postmodernist thinker, is that there is no objective reality. (Which is total bullshit and can be proven to be false).
_The postmodernist will find a way to evade this reality of objectivity , and ignore it - for that very objectivity is insane to them...
..... hence my deep belief that the very position is one of mental illness. It is a state of delusion.

Ergo, to ever indulge a delusion through silence - and to be sycophantic to those people peddling the delusion (due to a loyalty to money ) makes you, by actions, a part of the problem.

So it is in this strategic vein, that I will now be maximizing my profits - while at the same time, fighting my philosophical battles against the sophists.
