Reg and Derek getting drunk...part 3 (Gerald is permanantley drunk)

With the sound of a loud 'THUD', Reg woke up!

He was covered in the green things that Gerald must have thrown down to him.

It must have taken a long time.
Gerald had fallen out of his tree. 'That explained the noise', Reg thought.

Gerald was fast asleep on the ground, next to Reg.

'Why does he always look so comfortable? ' Reg thought to himself.
'Probably 'cos he's so wasted all time', was his conclusion.

"Ah! Time to get drunk!" Reg shouted, picking up a beak full of leaves. and waddling excitedly, over to Derek.
Derek was also fast asleep.

Reg started pecking Derek's nose......

“What's jeeeesus christ, Derek? ”

“ I dunno Reg, to be quite honest," Derek said "But this one time, I ate a bear that was swimming. Bears take there fur off when they go in the water, did you know that? Reg... they swim stark naked!.."

"Oh my!", Reg said, "That's just weird."

"Well, anyway......" Derek went on,

" I was busy eating this naked bear, and it kept making these noises 'jeeeesus christ', 'oh, jeeesus christ '. " Derek smiled,
" I thought it sounded really cool - so I started using it to when I get surprised. "

As an after thought Derek continued, " And that bear tasted pretty shit to, come to think of it - I don't think I'm going to even try bear anymore. I'll stick to my fishy bits, thank you very much..."

“These green things taste a bit shit as well, " Reg said to his friend, " But they seem to get Gerald very drunk. And I want to get very drunk."

“Ok by me Reg,!!!" Derek said very enthusiastically, " Yeah,let's do it!... lets get really, really drunk !

Reg smiled, pushing some green thing into his mouth for him..

“Reg?.....,” Derek said, quietly...

What Derek?” Reg replied, looking at him.

He wasn't used to Derek sounding so timid...

“What's drunk?”
