Feeling love for every person - 4 exercises

in #blog6 years ago

Time for a few vague tips that help you experience a vague feeling that will make your life more beautiful in a very tangible way. Discover how you can feel love for every person.

  1. Meditate
By meditating you become more loving. Both direction yourself and towards others. So if you want to keep learning from every person, then meditation is a great first step.

Meditation helps you to distance yourself from your everyday life, from your ego, and to put everything in perspective. You do not have to bother with that. It happens almost automatically when you sit still and focus on your breathing.

So sit down regularly and come to rest. Here you can read how you do that.

  1. Observe and enjoy people
Sit on a bench in the city, and observe people. See how each person is different. And try to feel love for every person. See how every human being struggles with his own existence. How each person tries to do what is right, given his or her image of the world. Realize that every person is ultimately looking for love, for approval. Just like you. Like all other people.

  2. Do not judge
If you condemn someone, you make it difficult for yourself to feel love for that person. By condemning someone you create distance, instead of connection.

Talk to yourself that you are doing your best to feel love for every person. For the essence in every person. Not for the behavior, not for the words, not for the appearance. But purely and simply because it is a person. Someone who deserves love because he or she exists.

Someone is not bad because he is different. Someone is no better than you because he makes other choices. But everyone is. That goes for the wanderer in the park, the sweet lady behind the counter, the stressed businessman in suit, the group of teenagers that makes everyone laugh out of uncertainty.

And if you want to love every person, every person deserves love. Regardless of everything. Tricky, but nice at times when you succeed.

  1. Look past the ego
People find themselves important. I sometimes find myself quite important. And when I say 'I', I actually mean my ego. That voice in my head that can fool me of everything. Every person has an ego, and the ego stands between you and the actual person. It is the ego that constantly fills your head with thoughts. It is your ego that you leave behind when you meditate.

When I meditate, I feel completely connected. With everything and everyone. Then I do not feel better or worse, or more handsome or uglier. Then everything is good as it is. Then everyone is good as he is. A sense of unconditional love for life. And that is exactly the feeling that on a daily basis (unfortunately) is kept out of the door by your ego.

The ego is "your" greatest enemy. You must not be a prisoner of your egos. You must know the difference between ego and himself.
You are one and only one ..

The ego is always trying "prove" that yes is he - you.
He tells you "what you need to do".If you do not know the difference then you'll listen to him...and he is winner...

Because of him you take unreasonable steps.
Unreasonable steps = wrong decisions.
Misguided decisions always have bad consequences.

Every thought should be so "analise viewed".
You need to make your own decisions. Not from Ega.

Meditation is said to be key to compassion. Excellent tips. Namaste.
