A Small Computer (NUC)
I've found a small NUC (Next Unit of Compute) in my drawer. This is a small Windows PC. My kids were using it years ago. Not sure if it is good enough to run steemd - I'll first install Ubuntu on it.
Stay tuned.

@justyy, this is awesome! I love seeing how you're repurposing old tech to contribute to the Steem ecosystem. That NUC might just have a second life as a steemd node! It's a great example of resourcefulness, and I'm genuinely curious to see how it performs after the Ubuntu install. Running a node, even on a smaller machine, strengthens the network.
I'm particularly interested in the performance benchmarks. Any thoughts on how it compares to other setups you've used? I hope it works out, and I am looking forward to an update soon!
There might be some BTC 😂
HAHA, I wished that were true.
