I KNOCKED ON HEAVEN'S DOOR THE DAY I JOINED STEEMIT (MY MASSIVE FAILURE WITH BLOGSPOT, FIVERR AND WORDPRESS)

blogging on platforms on the internet has been very difficult, even for someone with the knowledge of Adsense, templates, and all, In other words, most people who started out blogging just to earn returns and spread their voice always ends up even more dissapointed because, they set up a website, a blog be it wordpress, blogspot and other ones, with hard earned money, and on the way they get dumped out by spending too much money on domain name, consistency in the articles and hardwork, yet it was to no avail.
In my situation I started blogging in 2013, and I pretty much spent 60% of my 8 months salary trying to set up a standard blog, buy in Nigeria where I come from, getting Adsense to earn from your was very difficult, so I was told to switch to united states Adsense, which I pretty much did, but the tax and the address location barrier made it difficult to withdraw my earnings from the united state Adsense, and so I wasted 400 articles and poems which would probably worth a whole On steemit and yet I got nothing.

TRYING BLOGGING WITH FIVERR

After my failed attempts with word press and blogger, I made an attempt with fiverr, I had a lot of jobs delivered and the clients short paid always, sometimes they never even come back to collect their jobs done, I was told I could buy reviews for my account so that I could move top of the food chain, which I did using $50 as at then, but the jobs I still delivered were paid less than $30, and it became very tiring having to work on a three day order and get paid $5, I was buying drugs of $3 to stay awake at midnight and delivered my orders, but as it happened, I abandoned fiverr the day I passed on out working on a job, and it was really time I had to leave fiver and I did.

I dived into using facebook ads for promoting my pencil arts and poems too on facebook, but I only got spammers and scammers, swindlers of all forms as client and I was luck that I didn't have to sell my kidney to continue paying for ads because I was desperate for people to see my art.

LIVING WITH QUESTIONS?

I had to start asking myself if I was smart enough? Why the hell would I spend over $300 on blogging and earned less than $100? From facebook to fiverr, ads online marketing, ponzi, wordpress, I failed with alacrity and huge flying colours of failure and it made me wonder if I was ever going to be successful being a blogger, I knew my arts were good, I've won poetry slams, and debates with articles, I even got a certificate on a UNESCO essay I wrote, but I couldn't earn with my talents, this bagged a whole lot of questions and at that massive failure, I went back to being a high school teacher, teaching literature.
It was an right hours job, and my pay was around $50 per month and I ate food of $30 leaving me with nearly nothing. I continued because I had to pay my bills or go out on the streets, or maybe something worse, and so it continued.

HEAVEN'S DOOR (THE SIGNIFICANCE)

Honestly most people don't know why I call steemit "heaven's door" I did because for s very long time I've been searching and seeking and ending up on dead ends, my notion were that I made a pretty bad blogger and thats why I failed, but the truth is I've been knocking on doors that had no answers to my questions, steemit was like that door that had the answers I wanted, I however hold it to high significance because to me, heaven's door had all answers, and this time I knocked on the right door on September 12th of 2017, in the most uncharacteristic of manners, I felt it was going to be another failed attempt in my quest to just have people look at my works and at least pay me anything for them, and tell me it's worth the worth.
My first two weeks was a revelations and I met people that showed me that steemit is where you can literarily get the answers to AIDS/HIV I learnt here that even less talented people are given a voice.
I met the like of @Gbenga, @Surpassingoogle @anomadsoul @ogoowinner @abh12345 @techslut @destinysaid @ayobami99 @d-pend @emenomelover @fulltimegeek @saywha @acidyo @ocd @donkeypong @sirknight and a whole lot my head still keeps screaming about, this people in their perspectives taught me the biggest life coping skills I never even knew exists, in their own possible ways, failure is for the faintest of heart and steemit certainly is a redeemer of men, would I not laud @dan and @ned for this initiative they birthed into existences, I may not not even get noticed by them, but there was never any need for it, STEEMIT WAS THE HEAVEN'S DOOR AND IM GLAD I KNOCKED ON IT.
