I just read this excellent post by @rwedegis:
In it, @rwedegis explains that the amazing technological achievement of the Delta IV rocket is the culmination of years of painstaking preparation.
It prompted me to comment - not with the normal "Rome wasn't built in a day quote", but with this one instead:
Abraham Lincoln once said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”
Herein lies the fundamental difference between productivity and busyness.

About the Author
Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic.
In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he performed high altitude, free-fall parachute jumps and hazardous diving ops in deep, open ocean water.
After 24 years of active duty, he retired in Asia.
Since then, he's been a full-time, single papa and actively pursuing his varied passions (Writing, Disruptive Technology, Computer Science and Cryptocurrency - plus more hobbies too boring or bizarre for most folk).
He lives on an island paradise with his teenage daughter, longtime girlfriend and three dogs.
Hehe great post, @jaichai. Well, it can be scary to take your time and sharpen the axe... Takes courage, I would even say, as it can seem risky and contrproductive even. Busy-ness can give a false sense of security and effectiveness. But I agree with this quote! I think it will stay with me for a long time :) I'll reflect on it. Thank you very much for this helpful post :)
