RE: Your Post

When my daughter was still in diapers, I had to make a trip with her from Asia to Southern Florida.

The trip was not pre-planned.

My father was in the ICU because his cancer had relapsed and he was literally on his death bed.

See:

I was neither psychologically, nor financially prepared for the flight.

That made the very expensive, last minute, over 24-hour flight weigh heavily on my already overburdened mind.

Luckily, every flight attendant on every flight we took could sense my plight and generously took care of my daughter (including diaper changing) - just so I could try and get some sleep.

But of course, I still couldn't get a wink of sleep.

Anyway, your post reminded me how kind those flight attendants were to me and my daughter.

And also how the act of changing diapers can represent such kindness.

I'm hoping each one of those many flight attendants - of which, I can only remember two names: Rebecca and Joan, knows that, even after more than a decade, I am still so very, very grateful.

And I know it is foolish, but I hope they somehow can see this:

Apologize for this long rant.

The old tongue loves to wag, no?

Upvoted and following you now.

Namaste (I recognize the divine in you, my friend),

First of all very nice to meet you! Thank you for the up vote and follow, following back. I'm sorry about your father I hope you are doing well. Sometimes with so much going on in the world we forget to be kind and humble to each other, and some people leave a mark in others heart with a simple kind gesture that maybe at the moment you don't realize just how much the simple thing really meant for that person. Thank you for taking the time to read my post take care my friend.

@honeybird,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I'm still very new to Steemit.

But it's Steemians like you that is making my brief stay here a blast!

Namaste, my friend.
