Something from my bar whenever I feel like it episode CCCLXXIII
This one is an old drink shaker. No clue how old but has to be over 40 years. It seems like a simple glass drink shaker with a plastic lid but looking at the top there is a crown emblem on it. I would guess this originally came with a bottle of Seagram's 7. From the size of the shaker and shape of the lit it's even possible the bottle was inside the shaker. It's almost big enough for a 5th you would buy today. If the bottle were a bit shorter and rounder it would fit inside with the lid on and the cap fitting up into where the crown symbol was. No luck confirming any of this. Closest I found were some old metal ones and a glass Seagram's VO one but it's a different shape. So they did make stuff like this. Probable most glass ones didn't survive.
