If I am not wrong , if I have a console and I jailbreak it then I will loose warranty on the console? @docmastery
It depends if you can revert back to the official firmware. If you manage to brick your device then all warranty will be void.

No. It would void your warranty period from my experience. Generally there is a sticker that needs to be broken to open the shell and thus tampering would void your warranty. But anyways. Buying games and supporting developers is cool too.
