The new Chucky movie is worth watching and it has a new fun twist

Yesterday I saw the new Chucky movie "Child's Play" and it was very cool. I think I have only watched 1 Chucky movie before this one and I don't even remember which one of the previous movies it was. All I remember is that there was always a supernatural element explaining the evilness of Chucky.

The new movie adopts a totally different origin for Chucky that felt like a good dose of fresh air for this character. This time, there is a major tech company creating intelligent toys with advanced AI that allows them to interact with kids and befriend them. These toys are little robots capable of learning, talking, and controlling other smart devices.

The major difference between the new Chucky and old ones is that instead of being a possessed toy, the reason for its violence is because one of the workers in the factory changed some configurations in the chip of one of the toys and remove all the safety regulations, allowing the toy to do violent acts and evil stuff.

Eventually, all hell breaks loose and the evil Chucky uses its smart capabilities to control other household items and terrorize the victims. It is not a horror movie but more like an action movie and thanks to the new twist it was fun for me.
